Job Brief: Happy Sprouts, a growing mom and baby retail brand under ARVM Baby Product Pvt. Ltd., is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser Intern to assist in managing our growing product portfolio of mom and baby essentials. This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail, inventory, and product presentation. As a Merchandiser Intern, you will support the buying, stocking, and display processes while working closely with the product, marketing, and operations teams. You’ll get hands-on experience in retail merchandising, product planning, vendor coordination, and inventory tracking. Roles and Responsibilities: A. Product & Inventory Management: 1. Assist in updating product listings (name, description, price, images) to POS or Inventory Software 2. Help track stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team for reordering B. Vendor Coordination: 1. Support the sourcing team in following up with suppliers/vendors for order status 2. Help maintain records of purchase orders, Performa check, LR tracking, deliveries, and product specifications 3. Assist in basic vendor communication (via email or WhatsApp) C) Display & Visual Merchandising: 1. Assist in arranging products in-store for optimal visibility and customer appeal 2. Support in planning product categories, bundling, and seasonal arrangements 3. Suggest ideas for attractive packaging, promotions, or shelf displays D) Product Research & Trends: 1. Conduct market research to identify new baby and maternity products or trends 2. Monitor competitor product range, pricing, and placement 3. Assist in shortlisting new product ideas for our shop E) Reporting & Analysis: 1. Maintain product and stock data in Excel or inventory software 2. Prepare weekly reports on bestsellers, slow-moving items, and restock needs 3. Help identify sales patterns to improve future merchandising strategies
