
Provide academic counselling to students regarding educational options, courses, programs, and career pathways.
Assist students in creating academic plans and setting educational goals.
Evaluate students' academic records and provide guidance on academic progress and requirements.
Help students navigate academic policies, procedures, and regulations.
Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, interests, and challenges.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to address students' academic needs and concerns.
Monitor students' academic performance and provide interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress.
Refer students to appropriate resources and support services when necessary.
A bachelor's degree in education, counselling, or a related field.
Previous experience in academic advising or counselling preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of educational pathways, programs, and requirements.
Familiarity with academic policies and regulations.
Ability to work with diverse student populations.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
