
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Semi-Qualified Minimum 2-3 years post- articleship experience to join our professional team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in accounting, audit, taxation, and financial reporting, preferably in the Real Estate, Jewellery, or Manufacturing sectors. The role requires a hands-on individual who can handle multiple client assignments, guide junior staff, and contribute to the firm’s client servicing goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Preparation and finalisation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
Conduct and supervision of:
Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Internal Audits, GST Audits
Project-based audits and cost allocation analysis (especially for real estate and manufacturing clients)
Review of Books of Accounts, Inventory Valuation, and Costing Models.
Filing and review of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, TDS Returns, and Tax Computations.
Sector-specific responsibilities:
Real Estate
Revenue recognition as per IND AS 115, PoCM/Project Completion Method, RERA compliance, reconciliation of project-wise costs and receipts.
Jewellery Sector
Stock verification, valuation of gold/jewels, turnover reconciliation, analysis of wastage, and hallmarking compliance.
Manufacturing
BOM review, process costing, job work tracking, excise legacy compliance (if any), and ITC reconciliation.
Preparation of MIS reports, cash flow statements, and client-specific analysis.
Liaising with clients, banks, tax departments, and statutory authorities.
Ensuring compliance with Income Tax Act, GST, Companies Act, and relevant sectoral laws.
Supervising junior staff, reviewing their work, and training them as needed.
Skills Required:
Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards (IND AS/AS)
Familiarity with RERA, GST Laws, TDS, Taxation, and Project Accounting o Proficient in Tally ERP / Prime, Excel, and tax software like Winman, CompuTax, ClearTax
Exposure to ERP systems (like SAP) is an added advantage
Strong analytical, communication, and team-handling capabilities.
