Assist in preparing the operating room before surgery
Set up surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
Scrub in and assist the surgeon during operations
Maintain a sterile field and ensure the cleanliness of the operating room
Assist with patient positioning and prepping
Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth operations
Monitor and manage surgical equipment during procedures
Assist with post-operative clean up and turnover of the operating room
Associate's degree in nursing or completion of a surgical technology program
Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in a hospital setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a sterile field
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
