Project Objectives:

To compare the differences in inventory management practices between VMI and traditional inventory control system in Healthcare settings.

To analyze the impact of VMI on demand forecasting accuracy and inventory stockouts in Healthcare facilities.

To identify the challenges and barriers faced by Healthcare organizations in implementing VMI compared to traditional inventory control system.

Project Tasks:

Conduct a literature review on VMI, traditional inventory control system, and Healthcare Supply Chain Management.

Collect data from Healthcare organizations using VMI and traditional inventory control system through surveys or interviews.

Analyze the data using quantitative methods to compare the performance of VMI and traditional inventory control system.

Present findings in a research report highlighting key differences, advantages, and challenges of using VMI in Healthcare Supply Chain Management.
