Project Objectives:

To understand how digital transformation is reshaping operational processes in government research laboratories.

To study the role and effectiveness of IoT and AI technologies in streamlining research operations and data management.

To assess the challenges and benefits of adopting IoT and AI in public sector research facilities.

To evaluate the impact of digital transformation on resource utilization, process efficiency, and decision-making in research labs.

To identify best practices for successful implementation of IoT and AI tools in operational workflows.

Project Tasks:

1 Conduct a literature review on digital transformation, IoT, and AI in the context of operational management.

2 Study the structure and functions of selected government research labs with a focus on operational workflows.

Identify and analyze existing implementations of IoT and AI in government labs (case study format if possible).

Evaluate the operational impact (e.g., cost savings, speed, data accuracy) of these technologies through secondary data or expert interviews.

Prepare a comparative analysis of traditional vs. digitally transformed operations in such labs.

Develop a set of recommendations or a digital transformation roadmap for improving operations in research labs using IoT and AI.
