Project Objectives:

Conduct an audit of the current user interface (UI) design of a mobile banking app to identify areas for improvement.

Research best practices in UI design for mobile applications, particularly in the financial services sector.

Develop a set of design guidelines and recommendations for enhancing the user experience of the mobile banking app.

Implement and test new UI design elements within the app to assess their impact on user satisfaction and usability.

Project Tasks:

Research UX in Mobile Banking

Conduct a review of literature, industry reports, and fintech case studies to understand user experience principles specific to mobile banking, focusing on usability, trust-building, and secure interaction design.

Analyze Existing Banking Applications

Evaluate leading mobile banking apps to assess navigation flow, interface clarity, transaction processes, and visual communication, identifying usability strengths and gaps affecting user experience.

Design User Research Framework

Develop a structured methodology using surveys, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation to examine user behavior, expectations, and pain points in mobile banking environments.

Collect User Feedback and Insights

Gather primary data through user interviews and testing sessions to analyze satisfaction levels, ease of transactions, perceived security, and overall interaction experience.

Develop Improved UI/UX Prototypes

Create wireframes and interactive prototypes incorporating user-centered design principles, focusing on simplifying navigation, enhancing accessibility, and improving transaction efficiency.

Propose UX Enhancement Strategies

Prepare a detailed report recommending design and communication improvements, including personalization features, security cues, and interface optimization to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
