Project Objectives:

Develop an IoT-enabled disaster response system that detects trapped survivors using environmental sensors and transmits their location to rescue teams. The system enhances emergency response efficiency by providing real-time data on temperature, motion, and sound signals in disaster-affected zones.

Project Tasks:

Study disaster management communication systems and IoT emergency applications.

Research sound, vibration, and motion detection sensors.

Design a portable embedded system using microcontrollers.

Implement multi-sensor data fusion for accurate survivor detection.

Integrate GPS module for location tracking.

Develop wireless communication via GSM/LTE/Wi-Fi modules.

Create a cloud dashboard for rescue authorities.

Implement threshold-based distress alert triggers.

Test system performance in simulated debris environments.

Analyze battery efficiency and ruggedness.

Evaluate detection accuracy and false positives.
