This project came about because of the desire to leverage retail analytics in optimizing retail strategies and inventory management, generally enhancing overall business performance.
In this project, there will be data scientists, retail experts, software developers, and business analysts working together.
Week 1-2: Initial Planning and Requirement Analysis
Define project objectives, scope, and high-level requirements.
Gather needed data and resources.
Week 3-5: Data Collection and Preprocessing Phase
Gather data from multiple previous sources, including POS systems, CRM databases, and online sales channels. Clean and preprocess it.
Analyze the data to understand the relevant sales trends and customer behavior.
Week 6-8: Model Development and Training Phase
The phase for the development and training of analytics models in generating retail insights.
Model validation about accuracy and performance using historical data.
Week 9-10: Dashboard Development and Integration Phase
To develop a dashboard in retail analytics and integrate it with the current retail systems.
