Many people are unable to manage their finances properly, mainly because of the lack of proper tools and guidance. This project aims at developing an intuitive mobile application that can make budgeting and financial planning easier. It will allow the user to track his or her expenses, visualize spending patterns, and obtain insights on optimizing financial health. It will also have features to set goals, which will promote savings and financial discipline.
Week 1-2: Planning and Requirement Analysis
Activities: Define the features of the application, define user personas, and make technical requirements.
Deliverables: Requirement document and project roadmap.
Week 3-4: Design Phase
Activities: Make the application wireframes, mockups, and UI/UX designs.
Deliverables: Final App design and user interface elements.
Week 5-6: Core Development
Activities: Expense tracking and budgeting along with setting goals.
Deliverables: Working app prototype with key functionalities.
Week 7-8: Data Analytics and Visualization
Activities: Implementing algorithms for data analysis and visualization tools.
Deliverables: Interactive financial insights module, charts.
Week 9-10: Testing and Refinement
Activities: Conduct usability and security testing. Take the refined version of the app based on the comments.
Deliverables: Tested and optimized version of the app.
Week 11-12: Deployment and User Training
Activities: Publish the app on different online stores/their own app stores, and provide user guides, and tutorials in support.
Deliverables: Hosted app and corresponding documentation.
